Restaurants and Christmas dinner: getting there and back for a fixed fare
Where people book for Christmas meals, work parties and New Year dinners, and how a pre-booked car makes the evening simpler than a late-night rank queue.
Booking the table and the car
Christmas Eve and Christmas Day lunch bookings fill by early December; most restaurants publish a set festive menu with a fixed price per head. Book the return car at the same time: tell us the table time and we schedule the pick-up for after dessert, with no waiting charge if the speeches run long.
Where we take people
Central London's Michelin-starred rooms, the big hotel dining rooms on Park Lane, the South Bank and Covent Garden, plus country pubs and hotels across Kent, Surrey and the New Forest. The guides below from our sister sites list specific restaurants and how far they are from the airports.
Groups
An 8-seater minibus takes the whole party in one car for a fixed fare, which is usually cheaper than three taxis and avoids anyone driving.
What a fixed-fare car costs
Fixed fares from our live rate card, per vehicle one way, tolls and airport charges included; exact fare confirmed before you pay. Christmas & New Year airport taxis · Book now
