What you need to know

Typical local jobs include station runs, hospital appointments, school pick-ups, supermarket trips, nights out and early-morning airport transfers. Regular bookings can be set up once and repeated.

A minicab is a licensed private hire vehicle. Unlike a black cab it cannot be hailed in the street, so it must be pre-booked - by phone, online or by app. The upside is that you agree a fixed fare before the journey starts.

When you search for "local cabs near me" what you really want is a car that is close, a driver who knows the roads and a price you know in advance. That is exactly how we dispatch: the nearest available driver is assigned, and the fare is locked when you book.

Cars, fares and pickup points

Saloons take up to four passengers and two large cases, estates add boot space, MPVs seat up to seven and minibuses up to sixteen. Child seats are available on request.

Every fare to local journeys is fixed when you book and includes the driver, fuel and tolls on the agreed route. We collect from homes, hotels, offices, stations and hospitals across Bromley, Bexley, Dartford and south-east London, and drop off anywhere you need. If plans change, amend or cancel online or by phone - our cancellation terms are shown before you confirm.

Frequently asked questions

Is a minicab cheaper than a black cab?

For most pre-booked journeys, yes - especially longer trips and airport runs, because the fare is fixed rather than metered.

Can I book a cab near me for someone else?

Yes. Give us the passenger name and mobile number and we will send the driver details to them as well as to you.

Do you take card payments?

Yes - card, cash or online payment when you book.

How quickly can a minicab near me arrive?

For local journeys we usually have a car with you in 15-30 minutes, depending on traffic and demand. For airport runs or early starts we recommend booking ahead.

Are your minicabs licensed?

Yes. Every driver and vehicle is licensed for private hire, insured for hire and reward, and carries ID you can check before you get in.
