The route
From Richmond (TW9, TW10) the natural line out is the A316 and the A205, joining A213 Whitehorse Lane, off the A215 for the last part of the journey. That is about 12 miles door to door. Traffic is the variable, not the distance: 35 min off-peak becomes 1h when the network is busy, which is why we build the timing around your arrival rather than the clock.
Where we meet you at Selhurst Park
Whitehorse Lane or Park Road, clear of the Holmesdale Road closure. The streets around Selhurst are narrow and go one-way on matchdays, so the meeting point sits on Whitehorse Lane.
Address: Holmesdale Road, South Norwood, SE25 6PU.

How early should I get to a European airport for my flight home?
ABTA advises arriving at least two hours before departure, because the EES exit check can add time at busy airports.
My flight home might land late because of EES queues. What happens to my transfer?
Give your flight number when you book, so the driver can follow the actual landing time rather than the scheduled one.
How does EES affect the 90/180-day rule?
EES records every entry and exit digitally instead of relying on passport stamps, so days spent in the Schengen area are counted automatically and overstays are flagged.
Do I need ETIAS as well?
Not yet. ETIAS, the EU's separate online travel authorisation, has not launched, so there is nothing to apply for. The EU will announce a start date months in advance; until then, avoid websites that charge for it.
EES is the EU's digital border check for non-EU travellers, fully in use since April 2026. It is not a visa. Checked September 2026; rules can change, so see the EU Travel to Europe site before you travel.
